Had some questions recently so thought I would do some research on gov't salaries.
President-$400,000
VP-$198,000
Governor of PA-$165,000
Senator-$165,200
Representative-$165,2000
PA Senator-$115,000
PA Representative-$115,000
Mayor of Philly-$165,000
Mayor of Pitt.-$95,000
Beaver County Commissioner-$56,600
Some of these offices I have chosen the leader' salary (Pa house and senate); however none of these salaries include their other perks, such as transportation, housing, etc...
Interesting to note however is many of these positions make much less than others who may work in the same building (aides, lobbyists, lawyers) or in the agencies "run" by these different levels of government.
